Why Use a Chauffeur Service?

My role, as their personal assistant, it to organise their day to in a logical and time-efficient manner. I also have a responsibility to help manage the CEO’s work-life balance. One way I achieve this is employing a Chauffeur Service; an executive level car with a professional driver.

Why use a Chauffeur Service?  As personal assistant to the CEO, my main aim is to help the CEO navigate through their day at a comfortable, balanced and sustainable pace. Their time is valuable to the company, and their energy levels precious to them. Every day they make critical decisions affecting other people, and their business interests. However, at the close of play the CEO should be able to finish work and spend time with family, pursue interests, and relax. Work-balance is not optional, it is critical. All too often we hear about people ‘Burning-out’-meaning their energy reserves are depleted and they can no longer function optimally.

The use of a chauffeur means that the CEO is taken directly to the next appointment and collected at the meeting close. An alternative to being chauffeured between appointments is either using public transport or driving themselves. However, public transport can be confusing to use, subject to extensive delays, and rarely provides opportunity for work. Even worse is driving themselves, as precious energy is expended trying not to get lost, or become stuck in traffic, and finally to locate a carpark space. When travelling with using a chauffeur services these issues become redundant. The professional driver is responsible for ensuring the CEO arrives at the appointment, on time, and without needing to think about traffic, getting lost and where to park.

Executive cars are comfortable, quiet, private and spacious. This enables the CEO to make phone calls, hold meetings in the car with colleagues, check email, or simply relax.   The latter is especially support, as we know that going into a meeting with a calm disposition puts people at ease, increases productivity and helps contributes to a successful meeting.  Furthermore, when a CEO arrives for a meeting driven by a chauffeur a clear and distinct message is conveyed-that the CEO uses their time and energy wisely and employs the right people for the right job.  The role of a CEO is important, their decisions affect many people.  My role as a PA is to plan their time to help ensure they can make decisions diligently. The use of chauffeur service also helps me achieve my main aim: to help the CEO navigate through their day at a comfortable, balanced and sustainable pace.
